Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-02
This policy explains what musehq.io collects and how it is used. muse is built local-first: the console works with no sign-in, and the data it keeps is deliberately minimal.
What we collect
- Anonymous demo chat: messages are relayed to the model provider to generate a reply and are rate-limited per IP. We do not require an account for this.
- Account data (if you sign in): your email and authentication records, handled by our auth provider (Supabase).
- Gateway binding: if you connect your own gateway, we store its URL and access token server-side to relay your requests. The token is never exposed back to the browser after you save it.
- Usage counters: per-day counts used to enforce quotas.
- Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We store a Stripe customer id and your plan status — never card numbers.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. Your prompts and the agent's work run against the gateway you connect; muse holds no provider API keys on your behalf for the full-agent lane.
Third parties
The Service uses model providers (to answer chat), Supabase (auth and storage), Stripe (billing), and our hosting/CDN. Each processes only what is needed for its function.
Your choices
You can stop using the Service at any time, disconnect a bound gateway from your account, and cancel a subscription from the billing portal. To request deletion of account data, email us.
